Comedian Rehman Khan, who shot to fame with "Comedy Circus," was arrested on rape charges Tuesday, according to reports. A 30-year-old woman filed a complaint against the comedian Feb.29, based on which the comedian was arrested.
Rehman, who has participated in comedy shows including, "Mad In India," "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 3," and "Nautanki - The Comedy Theatre," met the woman via social media app WeChat. The woman also said Rehman filmed the act and blackmailed her.
