Actress Reena Roy, who was last seen on TV show "Eena Meena Deeka" in 2002, is all set to make a comeback with the upcoming show "Rani Mahal". Apart from Reena Roy, the show will also feature Sakshi Tanwar, Anita Hassanandani and VJ Bani.

Reports suggest that Reena Roy has lost oodles of weight for her role in "Rani Mahal", which was supposed to be an adaptation of the popular series "Game Of Thrones". However, producers of the show have denied any link to "Game Of Thrones". Reena Roy will be seen playing the role of Raj Maata in the show and it will be a semi-grey character, according to The Times Of India.

The publication also quoted Reena Roy's sister Barkha Roy confirming the news. "Yes, she is returning to acting with this show. It's a semi-grey and strong character," she revealed. Apparently, Vikas Gupta's "Rani Mahal" will be based on the story of some women in a palace, and will depict their jealousy and politics.

Reena Roy started her career in 1972 with the film "Zaroorat" but the actress got recognition with the movie "Kalicharan" in 1975, which featured Shatrughan Sinha. After that, she starred in the film "Nagin" in 1976, for which she was nominated for Filmfare Awards in the best actress category. Later, the actress became one of the leading ladies of Bollywood with successful films like "Apnapan", "Badaltey Rishtey", "Pyasa Sawan" and many more.

She was last seen on the big screen in "Refugee" starring Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor.
