Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has roped in Ranveer Singh and Tamannaah Bhatia for his next project. After the Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol-starrer "Dilwale," Rohit revealed details about his upcoming venture, which will be multilingual.

"I really can't be talking about this. But yes, they are on board. Ranveer's energy, exuberance and huge popularity make this project more interesting, and Tamannaah is a massive star with the south Indian audiences, Rohit told IANS. "Wait and watch, it will be worth the wait."

It will be interesting to see two big names of the film industry together on screen. Ranveer is one of the most-loved Bollywood stars, who has captured millions of hearts, while Tamannaah is one of the leading South Indian actresses, who has a huge fan following.

It had been reported earlier Rohit and Ranveer were teaming up for a commercial. The filmmaker would reportedly direct Ranveer for action-packed scenes for the project. "The project kicks off in Hyderabad with a high-powered action sequence. Rohit and Ranveer coming together is exciting because they have very different energies, which lends itself to creativity. Ranveer, under Shetty's guidance, will be performing stunts, like he's never done before," a source had told DNA.

It is yet not clear whether Rohit was talking about a movie or this upcoming ad film, in which he has roped in Ranveer and Tamannaah. Ranveer is currently busy with Aditya Chopra's "Befikre," in which he has been paired opposite Vaani Kapoor for the first time.

On the other hand, Tamannaah's Bollywood career has not been successful, but Rohit's direction and Ranveer's company might change her stars. The Southern beauty made her Bollywood debut in 2005 with "Chand Sa Roshan Chehra," and appeared in Sajid Khan's "not-so-good" films "Himmatwala" and "Humshakals." She has also featured in the Akshay Kumar-starrer "Entertainment."

The actress mesmerised the Hindi audience with her brilliant performance in SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali: The Beginning." Karan Johar purchased the Hindi distribution rights of the blockbuster. The film did phenomenal business in Bollywood as well.
