Rani Mukerji's pregnancy news was only a rumour until her sister-in-law Jyoti Mukerji confirmed it recently. The entire family had been skilfully dodging media glare until yesterday when a photo of her flaunting the baby bump went viral on social media.

The actress is in her second trimester and the baby is expected in January. About two weeks ago, the Mumbai Mirror had reported quoting a source that the delivery will happen in Mumbai.

"They returned to India last week after travelling in the UK for over a month but have taken off again, no one knows where," the insider said.

The rumours of Rani being pregnant first surfaced when a fan spotted her booking an appointment for a prenatal massage at a spa in London.

"Rani has been away from media glare for some time now and there are speculations that she is pregnant. She was recently spotted holidaying in London. The actress looked relaxed and was glowing. She was dressed casually and was seen visiting a plush spa for prenatal massage," the Mid-Day had quoted a source as saying.

Though Rani's pregnancy reports were confirmed this time, there were such reports in the past too. About a year ago, while promoting "Mardaani", there were conjectures that the actress was expecting her first child with husband Aditya Chopra.
