Actress Rakul Preet Singh has recovered from the injury that she suffered while boarding a flight in the U.S. and attends the function organised by the bosses of Filmfare Awards.
The actress attended the press conference of Filmfare Awards South as the guest of honour on Tuesday afternoon. The bosses of Filmfare tweeted, "The pretty @Rakulpreet is our guest of honour at today's #BritanniaFilmfareAwards (South) press conference. @Rakulpreet lights the auspicious lamp at the #BritanniaFilmfareAwards (South) press conference in Hyderabad."
Rakul Preet Singh recently left for the U.S. to attend the NATA convention in Dallas. She was supposed to attend the event organised by the bosses of SIIMA over the weekend, but she skipped it. It was rumoured that she injured her leg while she was to board her flight from the U.S. to India.
The actress was supposed to return to India on Saturday, but she had to postpone her travel for two days after the injury. "The actress, who was in a rush to board her flight, fell and sprained her leg. It will take a few days for the sprain to heal." Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
After reading the reports, Rakul Preet Singh took to her Twitter handle to clear the air on Tuesday afternoon. The actress tweeted, "Hey tweeps! article abt my injury is true bt it was my neck, shoulder n not leg..But I have almost recovered now n back to work Frm Tom!! "
Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in Allu Arjun's "Sarrainodu," which has become a big hit at the box office. She has got several projects like "Shimla Mirchi" (Hindi), "Thupparivaalan," "Dhruva," Boyapati Srinu's project and Gopichand Malineni's film in her kitty.
