Rajinikanth will return as a don in his next movie "Kabali." He will be seen playing a character that fits his age — an ageing king of underworld in Malaysia.

Now, the details about his "Kabali" co-stars' roles are also out. The information was revealed by director Pa Ranjith in an interview with a Tamil magazine, reports Indiaglitz.

As per the report, Radhika Apte works in a real-estate company and will also be seen as Rajinikanth's wife, Kumudhavalli. Dhansika plays the role of their gangster daughter, who locks horns with her father at some point of time in the film.

Dinesh essays the role of a member of a gang and Kalaiyarasan will be seen as a teacher named TamizhKumaran in "Kabali." John Vijay will be playing the role of Rajini's close friend in the Tamil movie. However, it has not been revealed what role Kishore will play in the flick.

Rajinikanth has opted for a content-oriented film instead of regular commercial-rich subjects. It is said that the usual punch dialogues and masala elements will be not seen in "Kabali." Nonetheless, he will mouth one-liners with philosophical undertones.

The superstar is in need of a hit after he suffered back-to-back commercial failures with "Kochadaiiyaan," directed by his daughter Soundarya, and KS Ravikumar directorial "Lingaa." So, the fans of Rajinikanth hope that "Kabali" will give him the much-needed hit, thereby bringing him back to the form.

The multilingual movie will be released in May. Meanwhile, the makers are planning to release the teaser of "Kabali" in March, followed by the audio and trailer launch in April.
