Here is some exciting news for superstar Rajinikanth fans.
The audio and the trailer of the actor's upcoming film "Lingaa" is all set to release on 16 November.
The music of the film's Tamil and Telugu version will be released on the same day in Chennai, while the date for its Hindi version is expected to be announced soon. The film's trailer will be released in all three versions on 16 November.
"Lingaa" is one of the most-awaited films of 2014. The film starring Rajinikanth in dual roles is directed by K.S. Ravikumar. The superstar will be seen in a commercial entertainer for the first time since his 2010-release "Robot." Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is making her debut in Tamil with "Lingaa," while Anushka Shetty will be seen playing the other female lead in the film.
Oscar winner A.R. Rahman has taken care of the sound tracks, while cinematography is handled by Rathnavelu and production design is done by Sabu Cyril.
Eros Music has acquired the audio rights of "Lingaa" in all three languages and Eros International Media has bought the theatrical rights of "Lingaa" and they will be releasing the film worldwide.

"We are very pleased to associate with a leading studio like Eros to present a prestigious project like Lingaa starring superstar Shri Rajinikanth. With their global positioning, we hope to present the film on a worldwide platform with maximum reach," stated "Lingaa" producer Rockline Venkatesh.
Expectations are high from "Lingaa" as Rajinikanth's last release "Kochadaiiyaan," touted to be India's first 3D film using motion capturing techniques, failed to set the cash registers ringing.
Unlike "Kochadaiiyaan," a historic drama film, "Lingaa" is a complete commercial entertainer and the superstar will be seen in stylish looks. Fans will be expecting nothing short of a blockbuster film from Rajinikanth-KS Ravikumar collaboration as their past releases like "Muthu" and "Padayappa" have been hugely successful.
"Lingaa" is gearing up for a December release.
