Pratyusha Banerjee's boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has recorded his statement with the police and said that he was aware of the "Balika Vadhu" actress' pregnancy, but never accompanied her to a doctor, reports India Today.

The police have revealed that Pratyusha was three months pregnant as she conceived in the month of January and underwent an abortion in March after consulting a doctor, the report said.

Many shocking details have been revealed after the death of Pratyusha and the latest is Rahul reportedly saying in his statement that he was aware of his girlfriend's pregnancy but not never taking her to a doctor.

Following Pratyusha allegedly committing suicide, an FIR was filed against Rahul on charges of abetment to suicide, however, his family members have been stressing that Rahul loved the actress and could never do something that would force her to take such a drastic step.

However, Rahul admitting that he never accompanied Pratyusha to a doctor even being aware of her pregnancy puts him under the scanner. The report also added that this fresh revelation might convince the police to interrogate Rahul further.

Earlier, Rahul said that Pratyusha was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her residence on April 1, following which he had taken her to a hospital, where she was declared dead. Soon after her death, Rahul got hospitalised complaining a chest pain.

It was also reported that Pratyusha's boyfriend was showing suicidal tendencies at the hospital as he had threatened the hospital authorities on April 15 that he would jump off the building. However, he was discharged from the hospital the next day and has recorded his statement with the police on April 19.
