The latest reports suggest that the 59th film of "Puli" star Vijay is yet to be titled. It was widely speculated that the film has been named as "Moondru Mugam".

Earlier, the reports stated that the makers of the film had zeroed in on "Moondru Mugam", which is also the name of Rajinikanth's blockbuster film, after considering a couple of titles. Now, the sources have denied the reports and claimed that the title is yet to be locked in.

However, the name of the movie is unlikely to be released soon. Some of Vijay's earlier films had faced some trouble due to publicity mongers, who had unnecessarily dragged the films to court. Though the verdict was in favour of the actor's films, the unnecessary trouble had caused a lot confusions.

Following the experience, it is only right to delay the announcement.

Meanwhile, around 50% of the film's shooting has been completed. The filming is in progress at Pachaiappan College in Chennai. Though the deadline for the release is not known as yet, the pace of progress suggests that the flick might be Ilayathalapathya's Pongal treat to his Kollywood fans.

"Vijay 59" is an action thriller, written and directed by Atlee Kumar of the "Raja Rani" fame. The "Thuppakki" actor plays the role of a cop in the movie. Samantha has teamed up with him again after "Kaththi".

Amy Jackson is the second female lead in "Vijay 59". Prabhu, Radhikaa Sarathkumar, J Mahendran, Kaali Venkat and others are part of the cast. Sunainaa and maverick filmmaker KS Ravikumar are going to make a guest appearance in the untitled flick.

The movie is being produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu, who had earlier produced Vijay's blockbuster "Thuppakki". It has GV Prakash Kumar's music, George C Williams' cinematography and Ruben's editing.
