After creating waves with the trailer, the makers of "Puli" have now released brand new stills from the movie.

The trailer of "Puli" was released a few days ago and has been met with fantastic response across the globe. In three days, the video-clip has garnered over 2.6 million hits on its official YouTube page.

While Vijay's fans are used to his regular action and comedy films, "Puli" comes as a pleasant change to them, who can now see him in a different avatar in the fantasy-adventure movie. Ilayathalapathy in a variety of looks has become the prime attraction in the flick, which in turn has played a major role in the trailer's success.

"Puli" stars Vijay, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep in the lead roles. Yesteryear actress Sridevi is returning to Kollywood after a gap of three decades with this flick.

The movie is written and directed by Chimbudeven. Vijay's manager PT Selvakumar in association with Shibu Thameens is bankrolling this project, which is made on a budget of Rs. 100+ crore.

The movie will release on 17 September. The makers have plans to release 'Puli' simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
