A week after its release, the buzz around "Puli" seems to have slowed down at overseas centres. This is evident with the movie struggling to post a good score at the international box office.

In its second weekend, "Puli" has only collected $6,986 (Rs 4.54 lakh) from 19 screens in the US. It had raked in $191,689 from 89 screens in its four-day first weekend. The total collection of the movie by the end of its second weekend stands at $209,251 (Rs 1.35 crore).

The US is a big market for Kollywood and people had pinned high hopes on the performance of "Puli". With the Tamil movie now showing only in 19 screens in its second weekend, it appears like the movie might have to struggle to even cross Rs 1.5 crore from this part of the world.

"Puli" has collected $28,938 (Rs 18.81 lakh) from 10 screens in its second weekend at the Canada box office. The total business of the flick now stands at $162,351 (Rs 1.05 crore) at this centre.

The UK market is better than the US and Canada as the movie was played at 31 screens. It made £23,013 (Rs 22.97 lakh) to take its total business to £191,762 (Rs 1.90 crore) by the end of its second weekend.

In Australia, "Puli" has collected A$ 8,087 (Rs 3.84 lakh) in its second weekend to take its total tally to A$ 186,331 (Rs 88.45 lakh). In the first weekend, it had earned A$ 166,748 (Rs 76.97 lakh) from 14 screens.

"Puli" has minted MYR 156,994 (Rs 24.41 lakh) from 32 screens in its second weekend at Malaysia. The total collection of the movie now stands at MYR 1,136,904 (Rs 1.77 crore).

The movie, which has Vijay, Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi Kapoor and Hansika Motwani in key roles, opened to mixed reviews.
