Vishal Krishna has been suspended from the Producers' Council.Vishal Twitter Account

Vishal Krishna has been suspended from Tamil Nadu Film Producers' Council in connection with his remarks over the anti-piracy issue. The producers' association said that it sent a notice to him and his response was not found to be satisfactory. Questioning his activities and coming down heavily on his remarks, the producers' guild has temporarily banned him, along with his production house Vishal Film Factory.

Vishal Krishna had said in an interview that the Tamil Nadu Film Producers' Council had not taken adequate measures to curb piracy and had failed to address the issues related to satellite rights. Like Nadigar Sangam, the producers' council was not open to solving the issues.

Following his views, the members of the producers' guild had hit back at him, to an extent that Kalaippuli S Thanu said that no producer had ever earned profits by working with Vishal.

It has to be noted that Vishal Krishna is the secretary of Nadigar Sangam, the actors' association, and he is a powerful man in the industry.
