Bengal Warriors will go up against the Dabang Delhi in the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League on Thursday in Kolkata at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Indoor stadium.

The men from Bengal haven't begun the eight-league tournament well as they've lost both their matches. Dabang Delhi, after losing their first encounter came back to win their second game.

The Warriors failed to get going at home against Bengaluru Bulls on Wednesday. They seemed to be low on confidence in the encounter against the second-placed Bengaluru after their loss at the hands of U Mumba.

They were never in the game against the Bangalore side. The boys from Bangalore ran amok as they recorded a 46-30 victory. The Bengal Warriors adopted a very defensive approach after being pushed back by the Bulls. Less than impressive defence hurt them in the game.

Ajay Thakur, who seems to be in very good form, was nothing short of superb against the Bengal outfit as he scored 10 raid points. Rajesh Mondal gave him very good support as he ended with 5 points. Bengal found it very hard to contain these two.

The boys from Bengal found it hard to break the Bengaluru Bulls defence. Only Jang Kun Lee from Korea and Nitin Mandane had a bit of an impact in the game for the Warriors.

Bengal have to find a way to bring up their first win. Skipper Nilesh Shinde will have to inspire his troops. They will hope that Jang Kun Lee and Mandane have more of an impact in the game against the men from Delhi.

Dabang Delhi will be more confident after they brought up their first win against Puneri Paltan. It was a tightly fought contest in which the Delhi boys managed to hold on.

They started the game aggressively as they garnered two points in the first three minutes. The Delhi boys carried on in the same vein as the scoreline was 21 to 9 in their favour with only five minutes of the first half remaining. They then slipped up a bit as they gave away six points.

In the second half, Pune staged a comeback. Delhi however weren't unsettled as Surjeet Narwal ensured they were always on top. He notched up 13 points for himself. Kashiling Adake added five points to the score.

Dabang Delhi, led by Jasmer Singh, would be looking to repeat their success  on Thursday against the Bengal Warriors. Surjeet Singh will have to come to the fore once more.

Bengal Warriors would dearly love a win, Delhi Dabang would love to climb the table -- fans are in for a good time.
