Film director Alphonse Puthren, who is basking in the success of Nivin Pauly starrer "Premam", got engaged to Aleena Mary Antony on Monday, 17 August.
The ceremony, attended by the close family and friends of the couple, was held at Little Flower Church in Kochi. Alphonse was seen in a black tuxedo, while Aleena looked gorgeous in a golden gown.
Nazriya Nazim, Anto Joseph, "Premam" fame Siju Wilson, Shabareesh Varma, Krishna Sankar and Sharafudheen attended the engagement ceremony.
Later, the reception was attended by Mohanlal, Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Supriya Menon, Indrajith Sukumaran, Poornima Indrajith and Farhaan Faasil, among others.

Alphonse, son of Paul and Daisy Chacko, hails from Aluva and began his career as a director in Malayalam and Tamil simultaneously with the 2013 film "Neram", starring Nivin and Nazriya Nazim.
The bride-to-be, Aleena, is the daughter of film producer Alwin Antony, who produced films like "Daddy Cool" and "Ohm Shanthi Oshaana", among others. She is currently pursuing her higher studies in Chennai.
The couple will enter the wedlock on 22 August in a star-studded ceremony, which is expected to be attended by several Mollywood celebrities.
