Latest Malayalam movie "Premam" is surging its way to become the biggest blockbuster of Malayalam cinema. The movie, which stars Nivin Pauly in the lead, has reportedly emerged as the biggest grosser of 2015.

Trade reports suggest that "Premam" has turned out to be the most profitable movie for producer Anwar Rasheed.

Trade Analyst Sreedhar Pillai tweeted that "Premam" has emerged as a mega blockbuster and the two-week producer share is most likely to be between ₹10.5 crore and ₹11 crore.

With "Premam" becoming a huge box office success, producer Anwar Rasheed, who is also a popular filmmaker, has increased the production value of his movies. Last year, his production "Bangalore Days" got similar response in theatres.

"Bangalore Days", which starred Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim in the lead role was also among the top grossing movies of 2014.

Meanwhile, "Premam", directed by Alphone Putharen, is set for a strong third weekend in the theatres. The movie has raised Nivin Pauly's stature as a superstar and the character George played by him is now one of the favourite among youngsters.

"I have become a big fan of Nivin pauly after watching 'Premam' and probably now most favourite after heros like Mohanlal or Mammooty. The movie has everything that is expected from an entertainer. I have already watched the movie two times and I am looking forward to see it again with my friends for third time this weekend," said Vignesh, a student of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, Thrissur, to IBTimes India.
