Salman Khan and director Sooraj Barjatya reunited after 16 years and delivered a blockbuster film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". And now, the latest reports suggest that the actor-director jodi will come together for another.

However, this time, the director-actor will not work on a family drama, Spotboye.com reports. The entertainment portal reported that Khan and Barjatya have been talking and discussing ideas about the new project. And apparently, Khan has agreed to work with the director but the actor has two conditions.

Khan has asked Barjatya to try his hand at action films and also to cut short on his shooting schedule. Khan asked Barjatya to complete the film's shooting in three months.

"Prem Ratan was shot over 200 days across various locations in the country, which escalated its budget. And the film didn't perform as well as Salman had expected. So, this time, around, he has told Sooraj to shoot it on a tighter schedule, which will not only control the budget but also increase the likelihood of higher percentage returns," a source told Spotboye.com.

It remains to be seen if Barjatya will agree to do an action film, but it will be interesting to see him shedding his family drama image.

Meanwhile, Khan and Barjatya's last outing "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" was a family drama, which turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office. The film, which also features Sonam Kapoor in the female lead, earned more than Rs 200 crore from the domestic box office. The film also did well at the overseas box office, making it in the top 10 highest grosser list.
