New events have been announced to Pokemon Shuffle, the popular freemium puzzle video game that was initially released only for Nintendo 3DS but was later released to mobile platforms as well and went on to be known as Pokemon Shuffle Mobile.

Serebii has revealed the new events for Pokemon Shuffle users.

Talonflame event: This is a timed event that allows players to fetch Talonflame. It will be running until 12 January, 2016.

Pokemon Safari event: This event will consist of Pokemon Roggenrola, Boldore, Gigalith, Fletchling, Fletchinder, Numel and Camerupt. It will be running only till 12 January, 2016.

Arceus stage: This event has started for Pokemon Shuffle Mobile.

Pokken Tournament confirms Local Battle mode

A new mode has been confirmed for the upcoming Pokemon Tournament. This was confirmed in the official website. The game will get Local Battle mode where Player 1 can use the Wii U GamePad as his/her controller perspective and Player 2 will use TV screen as their perspective.

It was also clarified that players will not be using two of the HORI Pokken Controllers so as to play the game in local multiplayer.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that the Pokemon Green, Red, Blue & Yellow video games will need 11MB of space on the SD card when the players download the game after it was released on 27 February, 2016.

This information was released during the Pokemon Virtual Console 20th Anniversary release.
