For the second time in a row, an Aamir Khan's movie is reaching this rare feat. Earlier, his "Dhoom 3" had created the history by grossing ₹500 crore. However, his latest movie "PK" is achieving this rare milestone in a record speed.

Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3" had taken 18 days to earn ₹500 crore worldwide. However, "PK" is set to cross in record 13 days. The highlight of Aamir Khan's latest success is that the business has not seen a huge drop rather the movie is consistently performing at the box office from the day one.

In the history of Bollywood, "PK" is the second movie to reach the ₹500-crore mark. The surprising part of the story is that no films of other big stars have even come closer to this mark. Shah Rukh Khan's "Chennai Express" is now in the distant third with the movie's total gross standing at ₹422 crore. Even Salman Khan's best performance till date is with "Kick", which earned ₹377 crore worldwide.

The performance of "PK" once again shows that Aamir Khan has a bigger market than his contemporaries. Meanwhile, traders are expecting the Bollywood flick to break the all time highest gross of "Dhoom 3", which had made ₹542 crore.

At this stage, it appears like "PK" will easily beat the record of "Dhoom 3" and become the biggest hit of all time in Bollywood at the box office. Traders are also hoping that the latest flick would create history by making ₹600 crores worldwide. However, for that to happen, the Aamir Khan's movie should continue its dream run for at least another week.
