Ardent fans of Zee TV’s primetime drama Kumkum Bhagya have a reason to rejoice and celebrate! The popular show that has been ruling the hearts of the viewers since its inception has completed a glorious run of three years on April 15. The show has been a favourite to millions and its consistent top viewership ratings stand testimony to its sustained popularity, the connect of its protagonists Abhi-Pragya, their chemistry and the show’s gripping narrative.

Elated at the prospect of crossing yet another milestone, the leading lady of the show Sriti Jha aka Pragya shares, "I am immensely proud of Kumkum Bhagya. Although every day is a celebration for us, today the show has completed three years and it's a very proud and happy moment for us. Currently on the show, Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya have confessed their love for each other. But Tanu's (Leena Jumani) mother plays a spoilsport. She is successful in convincing Abhi into marrying Tanu. Abhi hurts Pragya by telling her his decision of marrying Tanu. Without saying a word, Pragya, leaves the Mehra house. Pragya is hurt and feels helpless. She tells her mother, Sarla, how she wishes to tell Abhi that he is married to her, but cannot as she worries that he might suffer (because of health issues). Sarla is also hurt as her daughter is suffering and asks her to forget Abhi and move on in her life. To add insult to injury, Dadi forces Pragya not to leave Abhi. But, Pragya reveals that she has given up fighting with Alia, Tanu and her destiny. Now that Pragya has given up, will Dadi and Purab plan to stop Tanu's marriage. Will they succeed?
