Spurred by an all-round effort from Australian Marcus Stoinis, Kings XI Punjab registered a 9 run win over Delhi Daredevils at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium on Saturday to stay alive in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chasing 182, Delhi squandered a perfect start to fall short after skipper Zaheer Khan won the toss and elected to field. Openers Quinton de Kock (52 of 30 balls) and Sanju Samson (49) forged together a 70-run stand to lay a good foundation, but disciplined bowling from Punjab, led by Stoinis (3/40) put the brakes on Delhi's chase.
