Panasonic has yet again teased its upcoming P81 smartphone in the country and this time with a video to show off the capabilities and the key specifications of the soon-to-be-launched handset.
The company which had teased an image of a new smartphone dubbed P81 earlier last week is now back with a new image and a video clip, divulging more details of the new offering. The recent poster of the P81 reveals that the smartphone will feature Octa core processor. In addition, the image also carries a tag line which reads 'Swift. Smooth. Sensational.'
Pansonic's latest teaser talks about the speed of the smartphone, however, the exact specifications of the handset are still under wraps. The previous teasers had suggested that the P81 is slated for a May launch and we expect that the tech world will finally get a peak at the new device by the end of this month. The handset will come with swappable back panels and will also feature preloaded apps such as Evernote, Readwhere and Hungama.
Panasonic currently retails, Panasonic P11, Panasonic P31, Panasonic P51, Panasonic T11, Panasonic T21 and Panasonic T31 in India. The P31 smartphone of Panasonic reached Indian market recently with a price tag of ₹11,990.
The phone sports five-inch FWVGA (854x480p) screen and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It packs 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and comes equipped with 8.0-megapixel autofocus rear camera with full HD recording and a VGA front-facing camera. Other features include 2,000 mAh battery, FM with RDS, GPS, G-Sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor and E-compass.
Beside smartphones, Panasonic's portfolio in the country also includes features phones.
