Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menen-starrer Telugu film "Okka Ammayi Thappa" has completed the formalities of the censor board and is now set for a grand release around the world on June 10.

The producers reportedly held a special screening of "Okka Ammayi Thappa" for the officials of the censor board on May 31. The officials were said to be impressed with the first copy of the film and described it as a clean family entertainer. They have awarded a "U" certificate for the movie without any cut.

Sundeep Kishan ‏is all thrilled over the decision of the censor board and he took to his Twitter handle to share his excitement over the censor certification of the movie. The Tiger star tweeted, "Okka Ammayi Thappa gets a "U" ..All set for a June 10th rel :) last film for the summer before the schools start :)"

Sundeep Kishan Sudeep's recent releases like "Ra Ra Krishnayya," "Joru," "Beeruva," "Tiger" and "Run" have failed to give him a big break at the box office. He has pinned lots of hope on "Okka Ammayi Thappa." So he requested his followers to watch the film. He wrote, "Releasing this June 10th.. Need your love and support :) #OkkaAmmayiThappa."

"Okka Ammayi Thappa" is a romantic action film and it has been written and directed by Rajasimha Tadinada and produced by Anji Reddy. Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menen are playing the lead roles, while Ravi Kishan appears as the antagonist in the movie, which has Mickey J Meyer's music and Chota K Naidu's cinematography.

The story of "Okka Ammayi Thappa" is set on flyover. Hence, the major portions of "Okka Ammayi Thappa" have been shot on a flyover. "It will definitely be a different experience for the audiences to watch a story unfold on a flyover," IANS quoted a source from the film unit as saying.

Its promos have garnered a lot of public attention for "Okka Ammayi Thappa." Many celebs, including superstar Mahesh Babu, were also impressed with its trailer. After seeing its huge hype and promotions, trade experts from T-Town predict that the movie will be hit at the box office.
