Madhura Sreedhar Reddy's upcoming movie "Oka Manasu," starring Niharika Konidela and Naga Shourya, has cleared the censor board and is set to be released in theatres on June 24.
Officials of the censor board have watched "Oka Manasu" in a special screening on Wednesday and awarded it a 'U' certificate without any cuts or mutes. Madhura Sreedhar is all thrilled over the decision of the board. The elated producer tweeted, "Friends!!! OKA MANASU is certified clean U without any cuts! All set for release on 24th June! Need ur best wishes!"
Oka Manasu is a romantic comedy film and it is a pure ethnic love story between Surya and Sandhya. Rama Raju has written the story and screenplay, and directed the movie. Niharika Konidela is making her debut as an actress and she is the first girl from the Mega family to choose acting career, which is why the film has been creating ripples in the media for long. Naga Shourya is playing the lead role in the film.
"Oka Manasu" has eight soundtracks and Ramajogayya Sastry and Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar have written six and two lyrics, respectively. Its music album was launched at a grand function on May 18. Mega family members Nagendra Babu, Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Allu Arjun attended it. All the songs have received decent responses and created a lot of curiosity about the movie.
The teasers and trailers of "Oka Manasu" have impressed the film goers and made them wait eagerly for its release in cinema halls.
