Take-Two, the owner of 2K Sports announced NBA 2K16. This will be a successor to the simulated professional basketball video game, NBA 2K15.
The announcement came via Take-Two's earning report where the company also announced WWE 2K16 and a yet-to-be-announced "triple-A title from 2K."
NBA 2K16 will be released on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It is also expected to roll out on mobile platforms. Though the release date was not revealed, it is expected to come out in the fall 2015, reported GameSpot.
It also noted that NBA 2K15 was one of the largest revenue contributors for Fiscal Year 2015. It also said that NBA 2K15 had shipped seven million units globally.
Meanwhile, 2K's UK arm has posted a Twitter message about the availability of first pre-order of NBA 2K16. This is being made available at ShopTo, an online videogames retailer.

The description says that the latest version is "most true-to-life NBA experience to date." It adds, "Guide your MyPLAYER through the complete NBA journey, take control of an entire NBA franchise, or hone your skills online competing against gamers from around the world."
It further adds that the game will have smoother movement and realistic articulation.
NBA 2K15: Locker Codes Announced
