"Nashville" Season 4 is now getting very interesting after Juliette made a comeback. Now, the series has got fans hooked to the plot about whether or not Juliette and Avery will reconcile and if Layla will come in between the couple. In episode 15, we saw the couple made some progress, but in episode 16, Layla will make her feelings for Avery more evident.
Episode 15 focused on how Juliette worked towards getting Glenn to be her manager again, and for this she took Avery's help. Avery told Glenn to come out to the Opry to see a new act to possibly sign, it was actually Juliette. They tricked Glenn to go watch her perform. And, Glenn finally agreed to manage her again.
In "When There's a Fire in Your Heart," we also saw that the night before Luke's tour was scheduled to begin, Riff's wife informed him that Riff had left home and that she didn't know where he was.

The synopsis of "Didn't Expect It to Go Down This Way," teases that though Avery's feelings towards Layla were still unclear, Layla's feelings were very obvious and she would try getting really close to him in the next episode. This would make Juliette really uncomfortable, who had just returned from the rehab, and was begging Avery for a second chance. In the previous episode, we saw the couple was making some progress and Avery saw the polite side of Juliette.
Even the promo of the upcoming episode shows Avery and Layla getting too close on the stage while performing as part of one of Luke's opening acts. The duo is shown singing together, sharing the microphone and Layla throwing seductive looks at Avery.
And the promo photos tease that Juliette will get back on stage and finally get to perform. Meanwhile, Rayna and Deacon will go on a frantic mode as Maddie runs away from home, after Deacon got overprotective and dragged her out of the club, she was singing in the last episode. And the episode will also focus on the exes, who had been given an opportunity to open for Autumn. But, it looks like the veteran will cause a rift between Gunnar and Scarlett.
