Namitha Pramod is just 10 films old, but the actress has made a mark in the Malayalam entertainment industry within a span of five years.

Namitha, born on 19, September, 1996 in Thiruvananthapuram turns 19 on Saturday.

She began her career as an actor in "Velankanni Mathavu", a television serial in which she was seen in the role of Mathavu (Mother Mary).

Later, she was seen as Devi in the serial "Amme Devi" and later became a household name with her character Anjali in the popular serial, "Ente Manasa Puthri".

Namitha made her debut in films as Rahman and Lena's daughter Riya in Rajesh Pillai's critically acclaimed film "Traffic" in 2011.

Later, she was seen as the lead heroine in popular films like "Puthiya Theerangal", "Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum", "Vikramadithyan", "Ormayundo Ee Mukham" and "Chandrettan Evideya" among others.

The actress will be next seen in "Amar Akbar Anthony" and "Adi Kapyare Kootamani".
