Telecom operator MTS India has introduced new Android smartphone Blaze 5.0 in the domestic market, with a price tag of ₹10,999.
The new handset comes bundled with 100GB of internet data for one year with a recharge of ₹198. The company will roll out the smartphone in nine circles in the country, including Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, UP and West Bengal.
Blaze 5.0 sports Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and comes with a 5-inch display. It is powered by Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 and houses an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 0.3-megapixel VGA front-facing camera.
The smartphone is seen listed on the company's official website, with the 'coming soon' tag. However, the exact launch date and the availability of the handset have not yet been revealed.
Other specifications of Blaze 5.0 include a 2500mAh battery, which promises upto 9.5 hours of talktime, and sensors like Gravity Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Light sensor. The smartphone comes preloaded with apps such as music app - that lets the users to download and listen to their favorite songs, MTS TV app (lets users stream over 100 TV channels) and MTS Wizard that enables customers to pay bills online etc.

Recently, the company had launched a dual-SIM Android phone, MTS Blaze 4.5, in India with a price tag of ₹9,999. MTS Blaze sports a 4.5-inch TFT touchscreen with a FWVGA (480x854 pixel) resolution and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM.
The handset features 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB with microSD card, a 5.0-megapixel rear camera, and a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera and is powered by a 1600 mAh battery, which claims 4 hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby mode.
