The makers of Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer "MS Dhoni – The Untold Story" have released its teaser. The film, in which he plays Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is the most-awaited biopic of the year, and is about the life and journey of the captain of the Indian cricket team.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film also features Kiara Advani as Sakshi Dhoni and Anupam Kher as Pan Singh, Dhoni's father. Scheduled to be released Sept. 2, "MS Dhoni – The Untold Story" also has Disha Patani and "Tere Naam" actress Bhoomika Chawla.
The teaser is being shown during the ICC World T20 match between India and New Zealand, being held in Nagpur, March 15. The introductory scene of the teaser features the voice of Sushant's character, who reports for his ticket collector's job. The actor looks phenomenal as MS Dhoni, and this video, which gave a small glimpse of Dhoni's biopic, is driving up curiousity.
Sushant has worked hard to get into the shoes of the Indian skipper. In fact, the actor has mastered copied Dhoni's popular "helicopter shot." He had earlier shared the video on social media, in which he was seen trying to master that shot, and it had gone viral. While the first attempt did not work out well, Sushant got the shot perfect in his second attempt.
Sushant has been in touch with the cricketer and his family ever since the biopic went on floors. Earlier, the actor was spotted with Dhoni on the film sets. Sushant, along with girlfriend Ankita Lokhande, have also spent some time with Dhoni, his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. Sushant and Ankita had shared a picture with Ziva as well, which, too, had gone viral.
