Challenging star Darshan's much-awaited "Mr Airavatha" has opened to mixed reviews. It is an action-thriller written and directed by AP Arjun of "Addhuri" fame.

"Mr Airavatha" features Urvashi Rautela in the female lead role. Versatile actor Prakash Raj plays an important character with Ananth Nag, Bullet Prakash, Sadhu Kokila and others in the cast. The interesting part of the story is that Vineesh, son of Darshan, makes his film debut with a brief role in the movie.

Airavatha (Darshan) is an honest cop, who is against corruption and aims to see a crime-free society. But he has committed a mistake and how far it will affect him is the interesting part of the story. The role is tailor-made by Darshan and his scenes with Prakash Raj are treat to watch. Actress Urvashi is good and rest others have done justice to their roles.
Cinematography by Shekhar Chandra is appreciable, V Hariskrishna's some songs are good and editing by Deepu N Kumar could have been better.
