Motorola is growing stronger in the smartphone marketplace in India with its competitive range of budget and mid-range devices. After launching the much-lauded Moto X Play in India this week at an attractive price of Rs 18,499 for the 16GB variant, the smartphone maker is gearing up for the next release.

The US-based tech giant turned many heads with its Moto X Play smartphone, which offers great specs comparable to renowned flagships in the market, and it plans to continue challenging others with the all-new Moto X Style.

Motorola hasn't confirmed the Moto X Style release date in India but the company's exclusive partner, Flipkart's director Sandeep Karwa confirmed on Twitter that the handset is "coming soon!"

iGyaan, citing reliable sources, said that Moto X Style will arrive in the Indian market by the second week of October. The handset is expected to be priced similar to OnePlus 2, which is currently the biggest disruptor in flagship race. Hence, we are expecting the Moto X Style to be priced between Rs 22,000 and Rs 25,000.

The Moto X Style specifications are already out, casting an impressive image. Powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with hexa-core CPU (MSM8992), Natural Language Processor, and Contextual Computing Processor, Moto X Style offers great performance and optimisation. The handset packs 3GB RAM and comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options with expandable memory up to 128GB.

On the outlook, Moto X Style features a 5.7-inch QHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel screen and 520ppi, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 shield. Photo enthusiasts will love the camera in the Moto X Style as it packs an impressive 21-megapixel primary shooter with Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection AF and 4K video recording. The selfie camera is also bound to make a splash in the smartphone space with its 5MP wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture 1.4µm pixel for better low-light image capture, night mode option, flash and slow motion video.

Motorola built the Moto X Style with water-repellent nano coating to protect against liquid exposure. It is powered by a 3,000mAh TurboPower battery that can run up to 10 hours. Standard to the company's design, the Moto X Style features front facing speakers with additional Smartboost technology.

On the software front, Moto X Style runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE Cat.6 bandwidth.
