Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo will address a handful of issues related to Prince Wang So and Hae Soo when it returns on SBS this Monday, 19 September at 10 pm KST. Additionally, the sequel will also focus on the relationship between Prince Wang Eun and Park Soon-duk.
Ever since King Taejo appointed Lee Ji-eun a.k.a IU's character as the new court lady, Court Lady Oh has been targeting her for one reason or the other. In a recently released promotional video of episode eight, Kim San-ho's character is seen confronting the female protagonist for being too close to the princes.
In the 44-second-long trailer, court lady Oh is seen slapping Soo on her face and saying, "This is happening because a court lady is too close with the princes. Keep a distance from them." The clip then takes viewers through a romantic sequence between the female protagonist and the fourth Prince Wang Wook, wherein Kang Ha-neul's character tells Soo that he will ask the King to let her go.
The trailer of Scarlet Heart even hints at a romantic tension between Prince Eun and General Park Soo-kyung's daughter. The clip shows Byun Baekhyun's character telling Soon-duk to leave him alone.
Meanwhile, the followers of the SBS period drama get a glimpse at Prince So's next move to dethrone Prince Wang Mu. Although the video shows him getting worried about the scar on his face, it ends up by showing Lee Joon-gi's character telling the crowned prince, "I came for my seat."
So the fans of Moon Lovers can expect a showdown between Prince So and Prince Mu in episode eight of the show. However, it remains to be seen whether the sibling fight will make Soo happy or it will strengthen her decision to leave the palace.
