Just hours before the grand finale, the Miss World 2016 beauty pageant revealed the winners of the sub-contest challenge events. On Friday, the Top Model winner was announced and on Saturday they revealed the winners of Talent competition and Multimedia round.
Miss Philippines, who is making her presence felt at the Miss World 2016 beauty pageant, has won one of the major challenge events. Miss Philippines Catriona Gray won the Multimedia challenge round, that was decided based on the social media ranking of the contestant.
Miss Mongolia has also emerged as the winner of the Talent event. Miss Mongolia Bayartsetseg Altangerel impressed everyone with her quick change and a magic act. The winner of the Talent event was decided through public voting.
The Miss World 2016 beauty pageant also revealed the top five finalists of the Beauty with a Purpose challenge and in no particular order, the contestants are Miss India Priyadarshini Chatterjee, Miss Philippines Catriona Gray, Miss Kenya Evelyn Njambi Thungu, Miss Nepal Asmi Shrestha and Miss Indonesia Natasha Mannuela. The winner of the Beauty with a Purpose round will be announced on Sunday.
