The 8th Mirchi Music Awards was held in Mumbai on Monday, Feb. 29, and some of the best talents were acknowledged at the event. Attended by A-listers of B-Town, the event was surely a star-studded one.

Celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Arjun Kapoor, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Dia Mirza, Taapse Pannu, Surveen Chawla, Govinda, Shakti Kapoor, Rituparna Sengupta, Urvashi Rautela, Mika Singh and Gauahar Khan walked the red carpet.

"Bajirao Mastani" picked most trophies and "Gerua" ("Dilwale") was announced Song of The Year, the Times of India reports. Papon and Shreya Ghoshal walked away with Vocalist of The Year for "Moh Moh Ke Dhaage" ("Dum Laga Ke Haisha") and "Mohe Rangg Do Laal" ("Bajirao Mastani"), respectively.

On the sidelines of the event, the Roshans — Hrithik and Rakesh — said they were thrilled to be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of Rajesh Roshan and left it at that. Honey, who had gone on a self-imposed exile a while ago, appeared upbeat in his quick chat with the press at the ceremony.

Talking about his upcoming film, "Zorawar," he said he was excited about the release as it featured a Punjabi rap by him that he hadn't done in years. He also said he never went away and had quietly been working on singles, the ones that were appreciated by listeners.

Meanwhile, Arjun spoke at length about upcoming song "Most Wanted Munda" from "Ki and Ka." He said the number appears in the film at a point where the central characters are married and the husband has completely taken over the kitchen duties.
