Micromax Canvas 2 Colours up for Grabs in India; Price, Availability Details

Home-grown smartphone maker Micromax seems to be on a launching spree. After rolling out the Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone in the country a few days back, the company has now introduced a new Canvas 2 Colours smartphone.

Canvas 2 Colours, which was earlier spotted on the company's website without a price tag, is now available online at Snapdeal and eBay with a price tag of 9960 and 9,899 respectively. Though Micromax is yet to officially announce the smartphone for India, Snapdeal claims that the handset would be dispatched within one business day, after the order is placed. 

Micromax Canvas 2 Colours (A120) sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 (HD) pixels and will be shipped with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).Other stipulated features of the handset include 8.0-megapixel camera (with flash, HD video recording), 2.0-megapixel snapper on the front and 2000 mAh battery. It comes with preloaded apps such as Games (Burn the Rope, Fukrey, Frog Brust), Kingsoft, Getit, Opera Mini, M! Live, Mi games, Reverie Phonebook and Smartpad.

According to the company, the new Micromax Canvas 2 Colours smartphone will be available in dark grey and white colour variants. The Dark Grey Canvas 2 Colours smartphone will be shipped with red and blue back cover panels and the white handset will come with yellow and green panels.

Recently, Micromax launched its Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone in India with a price tag of 8,500. The device sports a 6-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box OS and packs 4GB internal storage which is further expandable by upto 32GB with microSD card.
