Chinese smartphone maker Zopo has announced to debut in India with its flagship smartphone Speed 7 in India. Though being the flagship device, the Speed 7 is expected to be launched in India for Rs. 12,999. For the same price, one can buy the Xiaomi Mi 4i. Another good option is Meizu's M2 Note, which is available for Rs 9,999. All the three smartphones are powerful enough for their price and capable of giving users a good experience, but choosing one among them can be really tough.

To make things easier, here is a comparison of specifications for the benefit of readers.

Design and Build

All the three smartphones offer decent build quality, but the Xiaomi Mi 4i is more compact and stylish than the M2 Note and the Speed 7. The Xiaomi Mi 4i is also available in several colour options. The M2 Note and the Speed 7 are of equal weight but 20g more than Mi 4i's 130g. The Mi 4i is also slimmer, with a measured thickness of 7.8mm. In comparison, the Meizu M2 Note is 9mm thick and the Zopo Speed 7 has 8.65mm of thickness.

Display

All the three smartphones come with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display but differ in display size. While the Meizu M2 Note boasts of a bigger 5.5-inch display, the Mi 4i and the Speed 7 have a 5-inch display.

Processor and RAM

In this segment, the Zopo Speed 7 and the Meizu M2 Note both come powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor. In comparison, the Xiaomi Mi 4i packs an octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC. With benchmark suites, MediaTek MT6753 scores more than Snapdragon 615 SoC but that doesn't mean S615 is incapable of performance.

But the Zopo Speed 7 rules in this aspect by featuring 3GB RAM in comparison to 2GB RAM of both the devices.

Storage

The Zopo Speed 7, Meizu M2 Note and Xiaomi Mi 4i, all pack 16GB storage out of which 12GB is available for consumption. But the Xiaomi Mi 4i skips the micro SD slot which might upset storage hungry consumers. In comparison, the M2 Note supports up to 128GB micro SD cards, while the Zopo Speed 7 supports 64GB.

Battery

In this segment, the Xiaomi Mi 4i and the Meizu M2 Note almost tie with 3,120 mAh and 3,100 mAh batteries But since the Xiaomi Mi 4i has a 0.5-inch smaller display than the Meizu M2 Note, one can expect a better battery life in Mi 4i. In our review, we found the Mi 4i stays a little more than a day in a single charge. The Zopo Speed 7 is a laggard, packing a 2,500 mAh battery.

Camera

All the three devices feature a 13MP rear snapper and a 5MP front camera.

Verdict

The Zopo Speed 7 wins for featuring 1 GB more RAM than the other two devices. The Meizu M2 Note is an all-round device with a good camera and the Xiaomi Mi 4i is a compact device with decent usability.
