A fresh batch spy shots of new Bolero codenamed U301 has emerged online, this time from Motoroids reader Nithin. As usual, U301 is seen hiding under significant amount of camouflage, thus not giving out any key details on the model. However, the repeated sightings of the new Bolero tell us that the launch is not far off.

Under the hood, Mahindra's new Bolero is expected to pack a 1.5 litre diesel engine, which can churn out 100PS of power and 240Nm of torque. Although the rumours of an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) gearbox have also hit the web, nothing has been confirmed yet. The model is likely to be offered in a two-wheeler version at the time of launch and will get 4-wheeler version later.

Inside the cabin, new Bolero is likely to get music system with Bluetooth, and USB and aux-connectivity, black dashboard with sliver accent, a new gear knob, chrome lined instrument cluster and three-spoke steering wheel.

Other expected features include rear AC vents, ABS and dual front airbags. Likely to be priced around ₹6 lakh, Mahindra's new-generation Bolero will take on the likes of Chevrolet Tavera and Tata Sumo.
