Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Koratala Siva are joining hands once again after Srimanthudu. Their second movie was launched at a low key opening ceremony held in Hyderabad today.

DVV Danayya is bankrolling the second combo film of Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva under his banner DVV Entertainments. The producer performed pooja for this project at an opening ceremony held at Ramanaidu Studios this morning and the muhurat of the movie was a low key affair with a select few people attending the function. Mahesh Babu could not make it to this event due to some reasons.

Producer Suresh Babu and Shyam Prasad Reddy attended the launch of Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva's forthcoming film as the chief guest. Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar was also present on the occasion. A few other members from its crew also graced the event.

Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to score music for Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva's untitled movie, while Ramajogayya Sastry writes lyrics for the soundtracks of the film. The makers have roped in cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, who has earlier cranked camera for movies like Dil Chahata Hai, Boys and Black. This movie will mark Ravi's debut in the Telugu film industry

Mahesh Babu is currently busy filming AR Murugadoss' upcoming project and he is expected to take up Koratala Siva's film after wrapping it up. The principal shooting of the film is expected to begin in late January, 2017 and wrap it up by the end of September 2017. The Producers have planned to release the film as a Dussehra treat. The makers are yet to finalise lead actress and other cast and crew of the film.

However, Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva's first combo film has become the massive success at the box office. The movie has become the second all time highest grossing film of all time after Baahubali.
