Lenovo looks quite proactive this year with some great smartphone launches one after another. The day after ASUS launched its Zenfone 2 Android device series in India, Lenovo launched a new smartphone with 4GB RAM memory. If you're not aware, Zenfone 2 is the first smartphone which offers 4GB RAM memory.

The new Lenovo smartphone is named as K80 and not only features 4GB RAM but is also powered by a marathon 4000 mAh battery. The new smartphone will be available in China from April 30.

Apart from the 4GB RAM and 4000 mAh battery, the K80 boasts a 5.5-inch display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution and offers 64GB of internal storage space. Powered by a 64-bit 1.8GHz Atom processor, it sports a 13MP camera with optical-image-stabilisation ability.

The Lenovo K80 also runs on the latest Android OS 5.0.2 Lollipop. Available in black, silver and red colour variants, the same model will also be available with a 2GB RAM+ 32GB inbuilt storage variant and cost CNY 1,499 which roughly translates to INR 15,400.

On the contrary, the ASUS Zenfone 2 high-end variant ZE551ML features a 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on similar Android 5 Lollipop overlaid with ZenUI user interface. Powered by a 64-bit 2.3GHz Atom processor aptly backed 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM memory. But the battery of ASUS Zenfone 2 has only 3,000 mAh capacity and is 1,000 mAh less than the latest Lenovo K80.
