4:30 pm: LeEco announced that both its newly launched phones, Le Max and Le 1s, will be available exclusively on Flipkart. Axis Bank customers will receive 10 percent cashback during purchase. The registrations for the phone will go live on Wednesday and the first flash sale will be conducted on 2 Feb, the company announced. LeEco also revealed that the company has 555 service centers in India.

4.15 pm: Le Max and Le 1s price have been released during the Le Future event. LeEco announced that Le Max costs Rs. 32,999 for 64GB and Le Max Sapphire has been priced at Rs. 69,999 for 128GB. Le 1s will cost Rs. 10,999 for 32GB.

4 pm: Le Max and Le 1s have been officially launched in India, Jain announced on Wednesday. Jain also released the specifications of the two smartphones.

Le Max features a 6.33 inch 2K display with true to life colours and a 21MP primary camera. It comes with world's first floating glass design to achieve bezeless screen and has 80.3 percent screen to body ratio. The smartphone has full metal body with speakers at the bottom.

3:50 pm: Jain announced on Wednesday that LeEco will bring acess to localised content such as movies, shows and news. LeEco has partnered with Eros to bring Bollywood content to superphones, Jain said as Eros International Group CEO and MD, Jyoti Deshpande, shared the stage. Eros content will be available in the second quarter of 2016.

3.45 pm: Atul Jain, a former Samsung executive, who was recently hired as the COO of Smart Electronics Business, took the stage to speak EUI, the common interface for all products. Jain said that LeEco will take consumer feedback to bring improvements to its EUI. He also spoke about EUI's features like dominant hand setting, intelligent functionality and control centre.

3.30 pm: Ablikim Ablimit, the Vice President of Global Strategy at LeEco, defined LeEco System, saying that it offers unique and next gen experience. He also said that LeEcco plans to bring end-to-end user experience.

3.15 pm: Mok spoke about the LeEco fans in India, saying that the company attracted 1,000,000 fans in just over two months and currently has over 1,550,000 fans in the country. Hence, LeEco's focus lies in India, Mok said, adding that India is also the fastest growing market.

3 pm: Tin Mok, the CEO of LeEco's Asia Pacific unit, took the stage on Wednesday as the Le Future event started in Gurgaon. Mok showed off the new logo of the company and explained its significance.

2 pm: LeEco Le Future event is expected to begin at 2:30 p.m. The company has invited nearly 800 guests, which includes media, VIPs and superfans.

GURGAON, India — LeEco, formerly known as Letv, is launching two new affordable smartphones with fingerprint scanner in India on Wednesday. The launch event, which begins at 2:30pm, is being held at Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon.

While LeEco is rumoured to launch Le Max and Le 1s during the event, the company has not confirmed the news. The Le Superphones offer compelling specifications at an affordable price point making the device hard to resist. The Chinese Internet company has already partnered with Facebook to live stream the soon-to-begin LeFuture launch event. 

The official pricing of LeEco products in India are yet be revealed. 

In terms of specifications, Le Max sports a 6.33-inch Quad-HD display, metal body and ultra-slim bezels measuring just 0.8 mm. It is powered by a 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The handset offers a 21MP primary camera with OIS, dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, and a 4-UltraPixel front camera. Le Max has a 3,400mAh battery, fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port.

Le 1s, which is an entry-level budget smartphone, features a 5.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and sports a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, PDAF and a 5MP front-snapper. LeEco Le 1s features a 3,000mAh battery and is powered by MediaTek's Helio X10 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, dual SIM slots, 4G LTE support, fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port.

LeEco has established a strong fan-following in India by hosting LeMeetups to showcase its attractive product range, which includes Super Cycle, 3D Helmet and LeMe Bluetooth headphones, and actively connecting with fans on social media platforms.
