Pictures of Lamar Odom under in treatment will be shown in "Keeping up with the Kardashians" Season 12. According to a new report, Odom has given his consent to the producers of E!'s reality TV show to air the images.

A picture of Odom with various tubes running through his body has gone viral. The former NBA star appears unconcious and has a swollen lip. According to reports, the picture was taken by his estranged wife, Khloé Kardashian.

While it is certain that Odom's near-death experience will be depicted through pictures, it is still unclear if the family will talk about Odom's drug overdose and his recovery in Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.

In the previous season of "Keeping up with the Kardashians," the family only gave viewers updates on his health and it's effect on them, especially his estranged wife.

According to a Hollywood Life article, Odom himself will share his struggles. A source close to the former basketball player said he's not charging the Kardashians for his appearence on the reality show. However, this hasn't been confirmed by any of the family members.

"He also believes he's showing Khloé that he's a man who can face his demons head on. Part of all this is to impress Khloé and hopefully put their marriage back on solid foundation," the source said.

Odom was pictured drinking cognac at the Beverly Centre in West Hollywood on Sunday, May 8. The pictures, released on TMZ, capture Odom drinking at a bar inside the mall. Kardashian tweeted an hour after the pictures surfaced online. The reality star wrote: "Hummmmmm ... People disappoint." However, Kim's sister didn't make a direct reference to Odom.

"Keeping up with the Kardashians" Season 12 airs at 9 p.m. EST on Sundays on E!
