Lakme Fashion Week 2015 is here, with ace designers of India showcasing their spring summer collection at the Mehboob Studio, Mumbai. The fashion show kick-started March 29 with designer Manish Malhotra and his showstoppers were Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Manish's designer ensembles showcased the four elements – earth, water, wind and fire. Various shades of blue and white were seen on the ramp. Jacqueline looked gorgeous in a shimmery silver evening gown that she wore under a sheer pink cape, while Arjun looked handsome in a dark blue sherwani with a plain silver jacket and a dupatta.
While interacting with the media at the event, Manish appreciated his showstoppers. "Arjun is a really sweet youngster who is into clothes, is fit and particular. And this girl (Jacqueline) I met her after she became a heroine and I told her, Oh my God you are so beautiful," the DNA quoted him as saying.
Arjun and Jacqueline also talked about the ace designer. "Manish has dressed me on many occasions but I told him I just want to look my best today. The dress that I am wearing today, I never felt more beautiful and more like a princess. This is by far the most beautiful I ever felt, so thank you," Jacqueline said.
Manish has designed Arjun's outfits in his upcoming film "Ki and Ka." "On behalf of the Indian film industry, I thank Manish for his contribution. In terms of fashion, he has gone beyond everything," the leading daily quoted Arjun as saying.
Titled "Elements," Manish's show was attended by several celebs like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Sooraj Pancholi, Farah Khan, Shriya Saran and Kartik Aaryan. "Ki and Ka" co-stars Kareena and Arjun posed for the shutterbugs along with Manish and Jacqueline.
