For the past several months, Pragya (Sriti Jha) of Zee TV's "Kumkum Bhagya" has been on a mission to find out who the father of Tanu's (Leena Jumani) unborn child is.
However, despite making several attempts, Pragya has not been able to expose Tanu. Unmasking the antagonist will relieve Abhi (who thinks he is the father of Tanu's child ) from marrying Tanu and save his relationship with Pragya.
In the last episode, viewers were hopeful that the protagonist, who secretly followed Tanu and Nikhil, will be successful in finding out the father of the unborn child. But Pragya once again missed the opportunity to catch Tanu and Nikhil red-handed, thereby leaving the viewers disappointed.
If this was not enough, Abhi, has started distancing himself from Pragya as he wants to move on in his life. Abhi told Purab that he has decided to forget Pragya and concentrate on Tanu and his unborn child.
Pragya, who is aware of the fact that Abhi is not the father of Tanu's child, breaks down on hearing Abhi's decision.
It now remains to be seen if Abhi's decision to end his relationship with Pragya makes her even more determined to expose Tanu in front of the Mehra family.
The episode also saw Bollywood actors Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasini appearing on the show to promote their film "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3". Both Tusshar and Aftab were at a party when Pragya approached them to help her find Tanu.
