Karan Johar's much-awaited chat show Koffee with Karan, which makes celebrity statements go viral, will be back on the Indian television with its fifth season post-Diwali. The premiere show of the fifth season of Koffee with Karan will air on November 6.
Koffee with Karan 5 will be broadcast on Star World and Star World HD at 9 pm on Sundays starting from November 6. And now, that the air date has been revealed, the focus has now shifted on the first guest to appear on the chat show.
There were reports that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will be the first guest on the Koffee couch, but the actor denied all such reports. Soon after Fawad's denial, reports started making the rounds that Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt will be the first guests on Karan's Koffee couch.
Shah Rukh appearing in the opening episode could possibly be true, as the show host Karan had revealed on Twitter that the Dear Zindagi actor will be the first guest. During a Twitter chat, Karan replied to his fan that the opening episode has to be him.
"Yes!!! Opening episode has to be him and no one else," Karan replied to a fan, who asked him whether Shah Rukh will appear or not.
Meanwhile, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director has already shot for the promo of Koffee with Karan 5. The director took to Twitter to announce it. "Started the #koffeewithkaran shoot today...shot the promo! This Season...things are hotting up.... @StarWorldIndia."
So, post Diwali fans can expect some interesting revelations and controversies related to celebrities.
