Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who is busy promoting his next release, "Kill Dil", is impressed by the talent of his "Ram Leela" co-star Deepika Padukone, who will rejoin him in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani".
Ranveer said she is one of the finest actors in Bollywood and he likes her performances in "Cocktail", "Ram Leela" and "Finding Fanny".
"If you see the films she's done, she's outstanding...Like "Finding Fanny", I think she should go international now and work with likes of Woody Allen and people who justify what she brings to the table," Deccan Chronicle quoted him as saying.
The duo has paired up in "Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela" and their amazing chemistry worked wonders at the box office. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has once again cast them for his upcoming "Bajirao Mastani", in which the duo plays a Maratha warrior Baji Rao and his second wife Mastani.
"My performance will always be better because of her and am really excited to work with her in Bajirao Mastani because there is so much for us to do, such a wide array of emotions that there are to play, they are chronicling the lives of these characters at such crucial junctures that it's going be a crazy experience," added Ranveer.
Ranveer sports a tonsured look in "Bajirao Mastani" and Padukone has reportedly liked it. "Deepika loved the look. I had shown her my pictures in costume. She is very happy and excited about joining the shoot of the film. It will happen within a couple of months," the actor told IANS.
Rumours were doing rounds that Ranveer has an alternative to Deepika after he saved latter's number as 'Deepika Alternative' on his mobile phone.
"This is really silly. I have two numbers of Deepika. One I have saved it as Deepika and the other I have saved it as Deepika Alternative. It is as simple as that. How can this become news?" DailyBhaskar quoted him as saying.
