It's a well known fact that Salman Khan's lucky period to release his films is Eid and hence his upcoming movie "Kick" will hit screens soon. The movie has already generated positive response from people and is said to be a blockbuster ahead of its release.

But it remains to be seen whether "Kick" repeat the success of his last Eid release "Ek Tha Tiger."

In 2012, Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer "Ek Tha Tiger" was released and it got roaring response from the audience. It went to become the fastest film to cross the ₹100 crore mark in India. The film became a blockbuster hit, but it fell short of ₹2 crore to touch the double century mark in India.

However, the Kabir Khan directorial was the highest grosser film of 2012 and fourth highest grosser Bollywood film of all time.

Not only "Ek Tha Tiger," but also his films including "Wanted", "Dabangg" and "Bodyguard" were released during Eid season and all of them became blockbuster hits breaking several records at the collection centers.

After "Ek Tha Tiger", "Dabangg 2" and "Jai Ho" were released and both the films became a hit, even though they were not released during the Eid holiday. But it failed to create the same buzz that the festive releases did.

Now all hopes are riding high on the upcoming Eid release "Kick" which also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in important roles.

Khan is leaving no stone unturned to repeat the Eid magic with "Kick" at the box office. The film's trailer and the first song which has gone viral on YouTube have already created huge hype on social networking sites.

Also, the second song "Hangover," which was released on Friday, is getting good response as it is sung by the action hero. With all the hype, it has certainly become one of the most awaited films of Khan for his fans.

Not only his fans, but trade analysts are equally excited about the film's release. Trade analysts and distributors are having high hopes that the film will break several records starting with the opening day collection.

"All I can say is that 'Kick' will take a record-breaking, earth-shattering opening! The combination of Eid and Salman Khan will make sure the film has a fabulous opening, easily grossing over ₹30 crore, which for a working day weekend is fantastic," trade analyst Taran Adarsh told DNA.
