Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar might share screen space in "Aisha" director Rajshree Ojha's next. Though it will be a fresh pair on-screen, Katrina and Farhan have worked together in "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" and "Baar Baar Dekho."
The buzz is that Farhan has agreed to the project and now the team is waiting for the response of Katrina, who is currently in London with her family, SpotboyE reported. "Ojha wants Katrina Kaif in the film. Katrina has gone through the script," a friend of the director told the web portal.
It will be interesting to see a fresh pair on-screen. In "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara," Farhan and Katrina's characters were friends, while in "Baar Baar Dekho," Farhan is the co-producer.
Farhan was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar's "Wazir," which also featured Amitabh Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari. The rumours of Farhan and Aditi's link up started after this film. Meanwhile, the actor is shooting for "Rock On 2," which will also star Shraddha Kapoor, Prachi Desai and Arjun Rampal. Farhan will soon make his directorial comeback with Shah Rukh Khan's "Don 3."
On the other hand, Katrina's last two films, "Phantom" and "Fitoor," didn't do well at the box office. It looks like the actress is running bad luck in both professional as well as personal fronts. However, fans are expecting a lot from Katrina in her upcoming movie, "Baar Baar Dekho," in which she will share screen space with Sidharth Malhotra.
The Nitya Mehra directorial is said to be a love story in which 30 years of a couple's life will be shown. Excel Entertainment and Dharma Productions are collaborating for the first time for this flick and it is slated to be released on Sep. 9, 2016.
Katrina will also appear in Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos" opposite rumoured ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. The film will be released sometime in July and she will be seen as a journalist in the film.
