Between her royal engagements, babies and taking on the role of a mother, the Duchess of Cambridge has perhaps had little time to herself in 2015. Still, Kate Middleton has always looked fabulous while entertaining heads of state or finding herself weary and tired when she is eight months pregnant. Prince William's wife is a fashion icon, and more importantly, a source of timeless maternity style. As Kate Middleton turns 34 on Saturday, 9 January, 2016, we wonder if she will pursue a change of style for her rumoured third pregnancy.

The royal, who is reportedly with Prince William at their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk, is rumoured to be pregnant for a third time. A recent report by OK! Magazine claims Prince William and his wife have always wanted a big family, but did not expect to have another baby on the way "so soon".  If the report is indeed true, what can we expect Kate Middleton to wear during pregnancy no 3?

A recent Popsugar article claims the Duchess' 2015 dresses are the trend for spring 2016. So, we hope she continues to embrace her elegant coats and printed dresses when gracing every occasion.

The Duchess of Cambridge is aptly titled the "coat queen" of England. Whilst she was pregnant with Prince George and later Princess Charlotte, the duchess often stepped out in coats that were colourful and classy, and she made it a point to promote British labels and designers.

Among her most memorable coats is the pink mulberry peacoat, which is almost instantaneously associated with her. The Duchess wore it in New York when pregnant with Princess Charlotte.

Another favourite of ours is the navy blue trapeze long coat by English designer Beulah London. The Duchess wore this £650 coat for a royal occasion at the St Paul's Cathedral in London.

We hope Kate Middleton inspires another fashion trend like her £450 Madderson London dress, which, according to Express, sold out instantly. The dress, fashioned according to the style of 1960s, was complete with detailed pockets and French tweed hems, the website reported.

When it comes to dresses, Kate Middleton has exhibited her love for print. Almost all of her maternity dresses were replete with prints that ranged from polka dots to little hearts. Some of her most famous looks include a polka-dotted maternity dress from ASOS.

This love for print was also seen in her recycled dalmatian-print coat from Seraphine.
