The results of Second PUC (Pre-University Certificate) exams will be declared on 18 May, and not on 17 May.
The results were supposed to be out on 17 May but it has been postponed for some reasons, reports Oneindia Kannada.
Sushma Godbole, the Executive Director, Karnataka Examination Authority, has said that the results will be announced on Monday.
The results will be posted on various websites by 12 pm on the same day. The Karnataka Board of the Pre-University Education has reportedly told the colleges that the results will be available on Monday morning.
The OneIndia Kannada report also says though the process of evaluation of answer sheets has been completed, there is still a possibility of a delay in announcing the results by a day to 19 May. The reason behind the delay remains unknown.
The 2nd PUC exams were held between 12 and 28 March. More than 6.1 lakh students appeared in Science, Commerce and Arts streams. While 3.1 lakh students were boys, 4.96 lakh students were girls. 82,067 were repeaters while 4,96,00 wrote the exams for the first time.
