Rumours had it that Bipasha Basu and her supposed boyfriend Karan Singh Grover will soon announce their marriage plans. But it looks like they were mere speculations as the latter recently asserted that they are just "friends".
Karan was recently quizzed about his relationship with Bipasha and if they are planning to tie the knot in near future. The "Hate Story 3" actor appeared rather shocked and said that they are just "good friends."
When Pinkvilla asked Karan if he and his rumoured girlfriend are serious about their relationship, the actor said, "Yes, we take our friendship very seriously." When asked if marriage is on cards, Karan exclaimed, "What? Friends getting married?!"
Karan then explained what bonds him with Bipasha and claimed that they are just close friends.
"Bipasha is a very close friend of mine, we enjoy each other's company and we are happy the way we are living currently. It is our love for fitness that drew us closer to each other and we also love holidaying. We travel a lot and we both also love eating delicious food. I love Bong food," added the actor, according to the entertainment portal.
The buzz of Bipasha's marriage started after a Twitter interaction between her and cricketer Yuvraj Singh. Bipasha first congratulated Yuvraj on his engagement and the latter replied suggesting that it is her turn next. To this, Bipasha responded that her turn will come soon.
Since then, rumours were rife that Bipasha and her alleged beau Karan will soon announce their wedding plans. However, Karan's latest remarks suggest a completely different story.
