Television's heartthrob Karan Patel aka Raman of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" turns 31 on Monday, 23 November.
He ringed in his special day with wife Ankita Bhargava, friend Anita Hassanandani and a few other close ones. His "YHM" co-actors Divyanka Tripathi, Raj Singh Arora, Mihika Varma and Shireen Mirza and others were present at the pre-birthday bash organised by the couple.
Talking about the big day, the actor said he never takes an off but this year he will have to as he has scheduled an appointment with his doctor.
Recalling childhood days, Karan said as a kid he would have themed birthday parties but lately he hasn't had the time to indulge in such fun.
Interestingly, he said he would want to gift himself a film before his 32nd birthday, adding that he will have his admirers come over to a movie set next year, hopefully.
Karan, who never cuts cakes on his birthday, took a selfie with one his fans. Also, the TV star very patiently opened gifts, read out cards and thanked those who showered him with so much love.
